Odyssey Bay Bridge Swim on 7/31 to Guide 35+ Swimmers Through Difficult Crossing
On Saturday, July 31, Odyssey Open Water Swimming will guide at least 35 swimmers through a challenging, fun, and unique Bay Bridge swim. The 1.5-mile swim is for expert swimmers only, and will take place along the western span of San Francisco’s Bay Bridge. The swim will begin near Yerba Buena Island and will head west. Swimmers will reach shore in San Francisco.
Odyssey Open Water Swimming Founder Warren Wallace recently joined Captain Taylor Hurt for a test Bay Bridge swim. The two tested the course to make adjustments for the large group of swimmers who will join Odyssey on 7/31 for the swim.
As of 7/26, there are 35 swimmers signed up for the swim. The swim has a maximum capacity of 45 swimmers, meaning there are a limited number of spots available for additional swimmers who would like to join Odyssey for this unique adventure.
