Odyssey Berkeley Swim Alternate Low Tide Location

Weekly Berkeley swims take place at the Berkeley Marina. The dock is easy to find and a common meeting place. When tides are too low, a constant alternate entry location is used. We most recently used this location during the 5/24/20 Sunday Berkeley swim. 

If the tides are too low, a sign will be posted near the Berkeley Marina dock. Swimmers will be given additional time to make it to the alternate location so they do not miss their swim group. Regardless of the location, our social distancing rules still apply (read our social distancing rules here). 

The sign reads: 

Due to especially low tides today, we will be meeting at the alternative meeting spot by the old HS Lordships restaurant. 

Continue to the end of University Ave. and turn left. Continue to the end. Happy Swimming!
